|  2009 Vstar 650 Classic Gear Oil Leaking
Last week I noticed some oil on my reare tire. I was due for my 600 mile service anyway and decided it could wait. Yesterda the dealership finished the 600 mile service and gave me the bad news..... They have to replace the whole gear assembly and it is a warranty repair.. I said "well can I still ride it for the whole week while waiting for your phone call when you get the parts in?". They said it is not recommended but I can ride just be careful turning left!!!  I guess I better avoid turning left huh? Anyway I was happy the way the bike handled after the 600 mile service. It sounded different as well. If it weren't for the defective gear assembly everything would have been perfect... oh well....  |
