Red face Lost key --where's the code??
I have a 1981 Yamaha 850 Special that I listed for sale on Craigslist -- and then discovered that i don't have a key for it! It's 'misplaced.' Does anyone, anywhere know how to locate this mysterious "key code" I keep hearing about? It's not on the silver thing that the key would slide into... and i don't have the owner's manual. No one can make me a key from the VIN on the title. I am desperate... I've gotten scores of emails from guys wanting to see the bike (which hasn't even been started in 5 years --- long story).
