|  Which Viragos DIDN'T have "the starter problem"? Which years (if any) didn't have "the starter problem"? I thought only the earlier ones had the problem but I saw a thread where someone with a '96 was having trouble too. Thank you. |

| I had a '95 Virago 750cc. Put about 110,000 miles on it and never had any starter problems. I was told that the starter problem Viragos had were solved before the '95 models. There was definitely a well known problem with them. Finally, after 110,000 miles the start BUTTON wore out from being pushed a zillion times. I could have replaced the button, but instead I bought a new bike. What a wonderful bike that virago was! Sold it to a college student for 900 bucks.
