2007 FZ6 invoice?

Does anyone know the approx invoice on a 2007 FZ6?

I am debating on this bike and there are a few 2007s left over but I need to have a vantage point with these stealerships.

I'm quoting prices here in Japan so it may not be the same. But I just looked up the prices here for a new 07 model and it ranged from US$6,970 to $8,018 depending on the store, that is not necessarily a Yamaha dealer.

I must also add that FZ6's are "imported"to Japan, since they are not made here, so prices may be higher. But does this serve to be some reference?

Well not really....but I appreciate the reply. I need the dealer invoice (supposedly the cost on the bike) for a 2007 FZ6.

They have a few unsold ones here and are asking $5999 for each. I want to see if I can push the discount a bit further..that is *if* I like the bike once I sit on her..

$5999 does sound reasonable, given the fact that the prices I quoted were for "imported" yamaha bikes here. But give it a try if you like it. You may be able to push it down a bit further. The reason I say this is because the 08 models are already out, and dealers should be willing to let go of the left over 07 models asap.

As for the bike, I haven't ridden one myself so this is just hear say, but from what I've been hearing, it seems to be a good and fun bike. Not as aggressive as supersports and yet has the potential to be quite sporty.

But like you said, you need to like the feel of it so try sitting on it and if you like it, try one more push further.

I am fairly sold on a V-Strom but this FZ6 is the only other bike I have not sat on or looked at up close....that I am considering

After that, I can finally make a solid decision that I am sure I will regret either way.
