2004 Yamaha for sale for $4,000

The bike has 1,400 miles on it. Is it worth 4,000 for a 2004. What things should I look for before buying it. This will be my first bike. Thanks for any help

oooop's. It is not an 04 it is an 02. I called and he said it was a 2002 V star 650cc I believe with 1,400 miles on it.

Is a 2002 V Star Custom worth $4,000. It has 1,400 miles on the odometer. I have no way of if the odometer miles are original or not. The bike looks like it is in good condition.

Cycle Trader has them from a low of $3500 tp a high of $4900, if that helps.

I just saw one, 2002 v star custom 650cc with 9400 miles and the guy was asking 4600 firm, but it had a nice windshield, fender trim, nice saddle bags.

you might be able to get one cheaper, but maybe not. if it is in good condition and its what you want then i would buy it. i would try to negotiate a little bit. i sold my 2000 650 custom with 400 miles on it for 3800 and the only thing it had on it was a windshield and a hard krome exhaust. i think i was lucky to get that for it
