| I'm 99% sure that it will replace my Bandit within a few years. Anyone have one yet? http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/pr.../7/0/home.aspx I haven't been able to find a picture with the lower fairing. I'm a fan of nekkids, but that plastic really floats my crank.

| Just saw this thread on a general FZ1 forum internet search. Yeah... I still have my M50... will use it as a commuter bike, but I'm just loving the FZ1. It's an '03, but has all the bells and whistles on it. yoshi exhaust new intake w/ K&N rejetted 3 degree spark advance AIR removal lower ferring GYT-R riser (lower than stock) ZG windscreen Multi-gage (not in pics) ![]() ![]() I do miss the FI from the M50, but not that much. | Actually, that was my pre-trip picture back around the start of June. Spent the following week down at the Gap at the FZ1 rally, breaking in the new Michelin PP's. Absolutely perfect weather down there that week, sunny and in the low 80's. Looking forward to heading back down later this fall.

| I'm more into the naked look but the fairings look awesome on the FZ1. I'm currently looking to add a FZ6 to my garage.

| I got the first year of the FZ-1 '01 (at least i think it's the first year) and its incredibly comfortable and got more power that can be used legally on the streets. I'm the second owner and the first installed (or removed depending on how you look at it) the mud guard in the back and removed the tail directionals and incorporated them into the brake lights. Unfortunately no one could see them when they were on so I took out the conversion and installed Targa 1 1/2" amber directionals. But back on topic, great bike and i'd say go for it.
