I'm thinking maybe it is the Canadian gas! Guess the fuel regenerates itself at the same rate as the consumption. Haven't gassed up my car for years, either. It's gotta be the gas....

From Winnipeg Mb to Vancouver Island. The long way (#16) to Edmonton then Calgary. 8000 kms (5000 mi) in 2 weeks. I had our campsite The wife had our clothes. That shot was 2 hours form home on the way out. My bike stacked up alittle higher by the time we got home.

It sounds like a great trip. I'd like to ride across Canada someday. My wife and I did a 2 week trip and covered 5 states and 6000 kms. Here's a photo of our luggage.

Cheers,

Wow! Don't you wear clothes?
Which bag is the tent?

We even brought lawn chairs and tiolet seat on a frame!

We do wear clothes and use both sides to reduce our luggage by up to 50% .

My Nomad's saddle bags have 80 liter total capacity. Suzy's bags can carry 20 lbs on each side. We also had two large bags nearly 60 liters each. That was plenty.
