| 2001 kawasaki classic 1500 E4 Hey guys, long time reader first time poster Quick question for you, I just bought a mephis shade windshield, and went to install it last night, i lowered the headlight (was hanging there for a few hours by the wires) and realized i had the wrong hardware for the windshield. So i put the light back on and now the bike won't start. I have lights and horn and all, but when i go to crank it over, i get nothing. Like its a dead starter switch. My question to you all is, all those wires that run up into the light, do any of those effect the starting system? and what should i do next? I checked the fuse and everything i know how to do, the battery life is fine, ect. Thanks in advance all Seth |

Or did you have the bike on the center stand or a rear jack and have the side stand UP ?? Or it's not in neutral ?? Possible that someting in/around the headlight pulled loose but I think it is very unlikely. PS It usually gains you nothing by posting the same question in more than one forum. Most participants look at them ALL.
