Default Vulcan 500 Ltd

On a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 Ltd does the fuel valve have a shut-off position?
All I seen was run, prime and reserve.

Thank you.

You're right, there is no 'off' position on the fuel valve. We just leave it in the 'run' position. It automatically shuts off the fuel supply when the engine is shut off.
One 'lesson learned' to pass on. If you let the bike set for a few weeks, you need to put the fuel valve to 'pri' for a minute or two, then back to run and then start the bike with the choke on. If you don't prime it like this first, it will idle and run very rough.

Default No Shut-Off

Thanks for the reply Deno.

Seems strange that there is no shut off. Every other bike I owned they had a shut off if I remember correctly. But I have not had a bike for about 20 years I guess they changed a bit.
