Default Possibly buying Vulcan... need advice.

I found a 1998 Vulcan 600 for 1500. blue book is 1370. Bike is in good condition. All i need to know is this worth it? It's my first "real" motorcycle. I had a Suzuki Katana 600 I rode once before it %%%%in died on me and i dont like sportbikes anyways. Is 600 too much/not enough power for a new rider?

Also are there ANY pipes i can put on this thing to give it that rumbling sound ? It's all i can really afford for the time being.. any advice would be LOVED!

hmm, do you have enough funds to also cover insurance and some basic riding gear?

wow, nobody responded yet? that sucks for you. i know almost nothing about vulcans, so i can't help too much. maybe try a kawasaki-specific forum to get the gruesome details on that particular ride.

for all else, stick around here! it's a good forum in all other respects.

i love my vulcan 900 and find it to be a quality bike... the 900 was my first official bike and i molded right into it, being a bigger guy the weight of the bike wasnt a problem for me, its the common sense to handle x number of cc's...
