I've always wanted to go to South Padre, almost went this summer buy money was tight. Went to Lake Texoma instead lol...a bit different.

I'm in a Kawasaki mood right now, but I hang out here often. Still a big fan of the Suzukis, love the new 109's...

I ride all year, and can't wait for warmer weather in '07 to enjoy more trips like this.

THAT'S a beautiful bike Tex.
I go to the coast at least a couple times a year.
S. Padre is definitely my favorite TX coast.

How does your Vulcan handle the long haul?

I'm looking hard at a Vulcan 1600 Nomad.
I like the 2k models too.

Looks like the only diff between the 2k and 2k Classic is passenger seat and headlamp...Is that right?

Just came from the Kawi shop, and was admiring the new V2K Classics. Nice red color one there, and I didn't see any other differences than what you noted... They also had a Nomad, nice! This shop was sold out of many models by the Labor Day holiday, looks like some '07's are arriving.
