VTX 1300C Price - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Hello all,

Just looking for opinions........is a VTX 1300C with a 5 year warranty OTD price $9,997 sounds reasonable? Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

Two months ago I purchased my 06 Black Cherry 1300C (leftover) for 6999 with the one year warranty. I have wrenched cars and bikes all my life so I didn't see the need to purchase the 5 year.. (although I have a year from purchase to buy it) But if your not the mechanically inclined it might be a good idea, even though these bikes do seem to be mechanically sound. (piece of mind for ya)

I traveled an hour and a half to get the bike since my local dealer didn't have any.

One thing before you purchase, ask the dealer if they have fixed the steering bearing problem on the new models, many of the "C's" have a small wobble in the steering at certain speeds while decelerating.
