Default Valve adjustment

I was just reading about the VTX 1800 on the Honda website and it says the following. Simple-to-service screw-and-locknut valve-clearance adjusters.
My question is, How simple ? Is it a simple job for a technician or simple for an idiot like me !?

The only tough part on some bikes is getting access to the valvetrain. Other VTX owners can tell you about that part. The rest simply takes a few of the right tools and some patience. If you decide to do it, we'll help you get it right.

Thanks Rowdy,
I did swear that my next bike would have to be one that didn't need valve adjustment, but like they say 'never say never "!
