| after the 600 mile service the next scheduled one isn't until 4K but if i were you i would change the oil again between 1500 and 2K and not wait till the 4K service.....I have always changed the oil on all my bikes about every 1500 miles rather then switch to a synthetic and have never had problems....plus its a good reason to be in the garage and drink beer!!
