| After the first service I asked the service manager about the level of the antifreeze in the overflow container. It was on the low side. He said not to worry as the level fluctuates. A week later I decided to take the panel off to check again and now the level is under the low marker. The bike was cold at the time and I also held it level while checking...do i take it in and get them to top it off or is this normal?

| According to the manual, you should keep the coolant level between the "L"(low) and the "F"(full) level lines. If it falls below the "L" bring it up to the "F" with a 50:50 mixture of distilled water and coolant. It doesn't say anything about engine temperature so I would guess that it may read closer to "F" when hot and closer to "L" when cold but should always be inside the range. My guess is that you have a slight leak, that there might have been some boil-over,or that they did not fill it enough during set up or service. I would fill it and then keep an eye on it for a few days to see if it continues to go down.

| Thanks..kinda what i thought (cept the bit about having a leak..off to go check now..if it is im not payin for the antifreeze, they can!!) Why cant the guys at the dealers just say this kinda stuff..why is it they always go no problem without seeming to worry about the consequences which can be pretty bad!

| Hi All I know is you check it with the bike level, which you did. Id guess maybe a leak. Mine was low so I added a bit but Ive yet to see where it would be leaking. Maybe it was just low from the manufactuer. Good Luck
