Question Highway Pegs

Too a longer ride the other day on the highway and realized that I could really use some highway pegs. Most of the riding has been short highway or on back roads. So, I haven't realy had a problem until now.
I can't really stretch my legs out on the floorboards without compromising the brake pedal or the shifter.
Well, after about 60 miles, I started to get quite uncomfortable in the right leg and lower back. those back problems kicking in.

So I am looking at the Kuryakyn Pilot Pegs with 4" offset mounts seen here .
Question is does anyone have any experience with these? I am only 5'5" and I have the OEM crash guards. Does anyone think these would work for someone my height?

Thanks

seems like it would work. my question can you sit on the bike and reach the crash guards? looks like this would be real wide stance? but it should be able to come back into you by 4 inchs just a little wide
