| Wants Better Weather ![]() | Check with the laws in your state. Because I think any lights that ADD visibility may be illegal. I added 6 high intensity Ultra Violet LED's under my tank to light up the engine chrome at night. But there subtile and don't really attract any attention unless your looking. I just wired them in to turn on with the key, they dont pull a lot of current so I didn't have to worry about overworking the electrical system. Stay away from emergency vehicle colors, or anything that may be confusing to another motorist. Sometimes if the lighting catches a lot of attention people will stare and not pay attention to the road. I had a friend who got rear ended becasue he had some custom tail lights on his mini truck and the guy behind him was staring at his lights and forgot to hit the brakes.

| If you do run a lightbar, what would be pretty neat would be to have the two lightbar lights as standard halogens that you can flash on and off, and convert your main headlight to a projector assembly with real high intensity discharge lighting. Just make sure you get it aimed right with the proper cutoff height so you don't blind people but will still light up the road in front and to your sides like daylight. |

| I spent 12 years in the Yukon Territory. For awhile I use to do road trips to outlying areas in a Suburan. We ran aircraft running lights on our bumpers. We switched them on above 40MPH. Lit the road up like daylight. Mount a pair on your light bar. |

| MR, Resistable, Like your lights. Mine is blue and black C 50, think some blue accents would look good, what do you think? How hard again, is it to hook these up, and where is the best place to find them, price wise, do you think?

| Wants Better Weather ![]() | You can probably find high intensity blue LED's on E-Bay. I think blue accents on that bike would look good. I have been working with electronics and wiring my whole life so it wasn't too hard for me. It was tedious and time consuming and still took well over an hour, and I was working at a prety fast pace. I had to remove my seat and my tank (ended up stratching my frame and having to touch it up) If you know of somebody that is good with a soldering iron and wiring I'd have them give you a hand. Also they probably have bike lighting kits on e-bay but I have a hard time spending $50 if I can make something for $5 I bet the blue would light up a lot better.
