Question I need help with Hypercharger installation on a C50.

Anyone done this yet. I took to a shop to put in at same time I was doing 600 mile service. The mechanic said the unit would hit gas tank and that he doesn't know of a way to connect the hypercharger to a vacuum line to make the butterflies in front open and close. They would always be open. Would it be bad to always have them open? Anyone have any experience with this? Also the instructions say to block off a vacuum hose on the left side of the bike, but don't really detail which one. No pics at all. Very poor instructions. I just want to put in on and have it look/run good. Any and all help is appreciated.

Default My 2 Cents

OniedaSuzuki has a Hyper Charger kit for the C50 on their web site, about $275.00

I just installed the Vance and Hines straight shots, K&N air filter and a dynojet power commander on my C50, Big differance in power. I thought of a Hyper Charger but out side of the Way Cool Look I dont believe there will be any noticible performance gains. I base this with a conversation I had with a Performance tech at Dyno Jet. while looking into the hyper charger I noticed that Dyno jet does not have downloadable map for a C50 with V&H Straight shots and a hyper charger. They have them for V&H straight shots with and without baffles and an after market air filter (K&N). I called Dyno Jet to ask why. He said they will develop a map only if they can get an improvement with the various after market goodies. He said dont quote me but no improvement hence no Hyper Charger Map.

But damn it does look impressive with those butterflys vibrating at idle.

But hey if that's what you want then go for it !!!!

Thumbs up

There is no cure for Zuki Dude. All you can do, is SPEND. SPEND.
Maybe we should all send our bills to Zuki Dude.
I would like to see a picture DanoHB's bike.
