Default For the love of it

Took the C50 out again for my longest ride yet up into the mountains near me..some 500kms.Lots of twisties, turns and long sweeping broad roads. No traffic and a sunny day(first time all week). Funny thing, I have done the same trip by car a couple of times and on the bike it seemed so different that I thought I must have made a wrong turn! Beats the hell out of watching it through a windscreen. While stopped for a break I met an American from Ohio who has been here for 20 years and been riding twice as long. He loved the C50 (was on a 1150), we traded stories and invited me to hook up for a ride. Why did I stop riding 6 years ago? haven't stopped smiling since I picked my new bike up from the dealers a week ago. Ride on

Riding is a great therapy, When I got off work I would jump in truck and drive home. All I would think about was work, What did i forget to do, who did i forget to tell this that or the other, Etc. I would get calls on the cell phone or would call back to work, etc. Now when I get on my bike and drive away from the office, I dont give it a second thought. I can not here the cell ring and i damn sure can not call anybody.

Life is much better. makes me wonder why i gave up riding 20 years ago, OH yea, KIDS and No Money
