Default C50 coolant level

Hi Does anyone know when checking coolant level on c 50 if the bike should be on the stand, or held in a straight up posistion? The level varies quite a bit depending on which way it sits. This forum is awsome, had so much help and enjoyment reading from all you guys, and girls. Thanks, Doug B.

I don't know for sure...but I would guess that the bike needs to be straight up, not on the sidestand. The reason I would make that guess is because of the way the sightglass works on checking the oil. Just a guess however.

I didn't see it in the owners manual but the pink book says "keep the motorcycle upright" which I assume means level. Much like when checking the oil.
