Default Ticking sound on new C50

I have about 200 miles on my C50 and at about 40 miles i noticed a ticking sound that comes from the engine... it seems to be a constant ticking no matter what speed or RPM i am at - i asked the mechanic person about it and said it was normal - but i just don't seem to remember for the first 40 miles - does anyone else have this? this is my first twin so not sure if it's a twin thing... it kinda annoys me as i get fixated on it..

I've heard that this is normal for the C50...

Got a similar ticking sound on my SV, the mechanic told me it was the injectors.

It is normal engine noise for the C50 and the Volusia. Your valve adjustment at the initial service may change the sound.

Some ticking is better than no ticking. Usually a sign tappits need to be adjusted.

No worries
