Thumbs up Newbie

I am a Winger who was considering downsizing due to being an old f**t. I have been observing the comments for a while as I waited for my wing to be serviced and visited dealer show rooms here. after listening I commited to a C50SE in blueblack which will be in next week. Here on the west coast of Canada, most dealers are tacking prep and frieght on top of MSRP, some cases as much as $600. I found a dealer who gave me a good tradein, below MSRP and no extras other than taxes.
I enjoy reading the comments and look forward to my C50.

Welcome.....

Just in case you didn't know the C50 is the renamed Volusia about 95% or what applies to the Volusia applies to the C50. Nearly everything is the same the major difference is you have FI and the Volusias have carbs.

Other changes they made to the c50s are the heel-toe and floorboards, smaller gas tank, and no gas guage.

Talking Newbie

Thanks for the info. I read the site viewed 04 and 05 decided I preferred the FI. There is a shortage of C50 here. Was leaning to C50T but none available unless I was prepared to pay thru the nose. What I heard here had a big bearing on my choice.Looking at a few pictures which made it easier as not much was in dealer showrooms. I would hit 3 to 5 dealers in a day.
I look forward to sharing this passion with all the different riders here.
