Default C50T Windshield Care

Bought my T about 2 months ago. Being my first post I just have to say that it is the best bike for the money hands down and I've ridden them all, really. Removed all the stickers the day I got it home. I remember there being a care sticker on the windshield and I thought I saved it but now cant find it. Anybody still got their's? What does it say? Particulary interested in what its made of and what kind of cleaner to use on it. Want to remove some scratches too made by bad cable routing that the dealer did. I have Novus products from previous bikes. Are they ok to use?

I use Pledge and a soft towel after washing. I like the lemon fresh windshield.

I had same problem. I tried some stuff from Kit and Meguiar (sp?) for plastic windshields...didn't work on the scratches. In fact, I think it made them MORE noticeable.

I really liked the stock windshield, but I used the "scratch incident" to justify buying the 2-up Switchblade from National Cycle. If you're not familiar with it, the Switchblade system allows quick and easy on/off and there are a variety of styles you can mix and match to your mood.

Sticker says:
Do not let brake fluid or any soution containing alcohol get on the windshield. They will permanently damage the plastic.
Clean with soft cloth and plenty of water. Dry with soft clean cloth. Remove minor scratches with a quality plastic polishing compound.
