| Newbie | Just wanted to say hello to everyone and glad to find this forum. I bought my c50 in November and have 2800 miles on it now. With exception of one rear tire flat repair, the bike has been flawless in operation. I live in central Florida and would enjoy finding a few Boulevard owners to ride with. Also, I was curious if anyone has taken any road trips on there c50's and how it went? I would like to hit the highway this summer and would appreciate the comments/suggestions.

| Forensic Bug Splatter Analyst. ![]() | I took a little road trip last weekend for a day, does that count? Oh, but I was riding my little gixxer! http://www.suzuki-bikes.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6266

| Boulevard! Always good to have another C50 rider on board I haven't taken any long range interstate trips on mine yet, although I've had mine since September or so. Not sure what it was when you last lived in this vicinity, but 80 between Selma and Montgomery is now 4 lane divided, and I've run it several times, 82 between Brent and Tuscaloosa, and 80 between here and Demopolis (now almost all 4 lane). Other than wishing for a 6th gear over 80mph, I can't think of a single thing to criticise in how this bike rides. I may eventually get a better touring type seat - the original is fine, but if I were going to be in it all day, I can see my rear end and lower back wanting a gel or more lumbar support.
