| We got a 1 year old, but lots of desire to keep riding. Thinking of adding a sidecar to our Volusia. Anyone out there tried such a feat? We really have no idea where to start, or if it's even a good idea. Thoughts, feelings, etc. more than welcome.

| There were 3 or 4 people on the now dead VolusiaOwnersLeague that had sidecars. I remember 2 of them were from the Northwestern US. Here is one on VolusiaRiders.com http://www.volusiariders.com/album_p...p?user_id=1740 http://www.volusiariders.com/viewtop...hlight=sidecar |

| i love the idea of a sidecar, but really think that the volusia/c-50 is too underpowered to support such a rig. just my opinion, but it adds so much more weight that 800cc's will be struggling constantly.

| Thought I'd read somewhere in my owners manual for my C50 that a sidecar is not to be used. Not sure why. Don't know if it makes a difference on your bike bocajrs, but I doubt it since the c50/vol is basically the same bike.

You would need a side car on each side to carry both boys.

| Back to the side car, I would think that not having reverse would make for some difficult times when parking and trying to get out of parking spots.

| Don't you need to have a reverse gear with a sidecar?
