There is very likely a place on the forum for stuff like this, so if this is in the wrong place I apologize, but then nothing has gone right today so far, so on with the rant.

...dropped my bike, yup, at a blazing 1/2 kilometer an hour, was pulling around in a semi circle to park it in my parking spot and down I went....*counting to 10 and exhale*

After a string of curses, an absentminded swipe of the finger across the damage to my still searing hot exhaust pipe (followed quickly by a 2nd string of curses) and loosening/repositioning/reconnecting my reservoir box/brake handle. I stepped back to admire my handy work, mirror and brake lever pretty gouged up, exhaust scratches (once the pipes cool I will look more closely at them) and right side front turn signal has a chunk missing on the inside of the chrome bullet housing.

I call this 2 steps back because all I could think about were the new pipes and FI unit I was planning to order tomorrow, and how awesome it was gonna be but I just can't seem to get as excited about it now (and maybe this is just me) because the damage, as minor as it is overall, seems so glaring to me I can't stand to look at it because it's all I see and feel like anyone who sees the bike will ONLY see the flaws and that now I have to spend money on replacement OEM parts I need instead of custom parts I want just to get back to where I started...okay the rant is turning into a ramble so I will cut it here and ask if anyone else knows what I'm saying? Either way I am still livid with myself and am hoping once I calm down the damage will cease to seem so bad and that the mods I order tomorrow will help cheer me up...I mean...at least they're "only" the factory pipes. Right? *nervous laugh*
