Default Anyone have a C50 w/ Vance and Hines Straitshots and a V&H Fuel Pak?

I recently had the bike shop I take my 05 Boulevard too, install a Vance and Hines Straight Shot pipe and Vance and Hines Fuel Pak Fuel Management System. if anyone has this combo please chime in. The setting based on my configuration is 23-10 but it backfires like crazy and gurggles letting of the throttle in just about any gear but especially in high gear. I called V&H and they said try 23-15, still popped. I went through all 7 numbers one at a time, 09-15 and found that 14 is the one that works best. 90% of the popping and backfires are cured. Anyone else experiance this.

My wife has a VT750C2 Shadow Spirit, 07 model. In the middle of the year in 07 they switched to shaft drive. Hers is shaft driven and V&H doesnt make a Straight Shot pipe for that bike yet. The frame is different and the VT750C (chain driven) and the Straight Shot pipe is not compatable, so I bought her a Cobra Dragster pipe and Cobra re-jet kit. Her bike doesn't pop one bit....and sounds goo too.

V&H techs said, " There is a certian amount of popping that is going to be there no matter what"..that blows or I would have bought a Cobra pipe. My neighbor has a VTX 1100 Honda and he has a V&H Big Shot pipe and a re-jet kit....he says his pops a bit too. I also talked to a guy today at a bike hangout with a C-90 and a V&H pipe....dont know what model and he says, his pops too part of the time. Is this just the was V&H exhaust is?
