|  Going to Bike Week...
So I just bought a new sport bike and I was planning to ride it to bike week so I can get some stock mileage on it before reworking the exhaust system and dyno testing it. My riding buddy Nate and I have been to bike week for the last 2 or 3 years now - so we've been gearing up for it. Well, Nate's girlfriend and my wife decided they wanted to go with us this year. Thats great and all - but the four of us had to come to the understanding that we RIDE to bike week. This was not apparently what the girls had in mind - but they were flexible and decided to agree. Well - I love my wife and after 15 years of sticking with me - I decided I wouldn't subject her to riding 800 miles on the sport bike's back seat.  So now my plans have changed and I have dropped money on getting a new rear tire on the C50 since the Key West trip kinda wore the rear wheel bald by the time i got home. haha. On top of that, now we have to pay for a hotel room since the girls dont "do" camping... this bike week trip is gonna cost WAY more than I had originally planned...  so anyone else going? We'll be there for Saturday the 28th (plus some of the 27th..) |
