Just reassembled the bike tonight. Couldnt wait til tomorrow
The black paint is killer! - So glad I went gloss and not flat black on this one. I want to redo the lower engine cases that I sprayed with high temp flat black - wanna go gloss with that I think. I am going to paint the headlight bucket (not the trim ring) and probably go ahead and do the front fender too. The painted supports and sissybar really go well with the painted fenders and tank. I love the painted gauge housing too!

and oh yeah - the pipes sounded perfect so far...

pics tomorrow after the rain...

I still want to install a front fender, paint the headlight bucket black, change the grips for some old school black rubber ones, and gloss black the lower engine cases in high temp paint, but this is where I'm at now...

I just chopped and sanded and primed the stock front fender. I will paint it and clearcoat it as soon as i can (when the temps peak again this weekend).

Hoping to do the headlight bucket at the same time. Might be able to make a chin spoiler too - I'm checking it out...

ACD,

Have you had an opportunity to get it on the road and open er up? If so is the exhaust performing as you thought it would? I also think you shoud leave the lower engine flat black, just my 2 cents

gotten up to 55 on the city streets - no problems yet - sounds and works perfectly so far.

I have been back on the ducati chopper now for a few days... hahaha. (Damn - I'm predictable!)

I should be able to paint and clearcoat this weekend which means the C50 will be done very soon. The trike is finished except for a new paint scheme I have cooked up - but that will wait until Springtime...

Other than that - I have a rolling chasis 3 wheeler that I am turning into an air-powered bike. (If my experiments work correctly).
