|  Tripping on the C50
So I had mentioned a trip I am taking in October on a few other threads. Basically, I have wanted to ride my bike to Key West for the last 5 years. The bike has changed 3 times, but the desire to do the trip hasnt. I have been unable to do it before because the wife didnt want to go - well not on the bike - and I hadnt really had any riding buddies until recently. Well, last year I made good friends with a guy from another forum and we now ride all the time. He's like a brother in law to me.  Anyway - I mentioned the trip to him and he was all for it. So then I all of a sudden had a friend to ride with so the wife wouldnt worry about such a long ride by myself. well - it snowballed from there and now we have a group of 4 of us riding down to Key West from Mobile, Alabama and then on the route back we are heading over the east coast to catch Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach! And along the way - we are meeting up with over 20 other forum members from 3 different forums! Its become epic, as my friend keep saying. So I have the C50 now and I have been prepping it for the last few weeks to prepare for the ride. I know its gonna be a long ride and I am fairly sure my butt will hate the saddle for awhile when we get back... but I just cant seem to stop thnking about this ride! I still have 20 days until its time to go... |
