Here is mine...

I ditched the stock windshield, added 10" z-bars, new grips, alarm, drink holder, 12 volt socket, hardbags with a air compressor in one of them. I drilled the airbox and the pipes too. I will be removing the carb covers with a nice little kit I got from TallAnnie.

next is to ditch the hardbags and make Indian Chief fenders for it - also new paint...

Looking great there ACD. Never saw a cup holder before!! Great idea.

I don't understand why you added the hardbags in the first sentence, and finished off the post that you now want to ditch them.

Also what are IC fenders?

I added the bags so I could do this trip next month. Some friends and I are traveling 2100 miles in 8 days - from Biloxi, Mississippi to Key West, Florida, then to Daytona Beach for Biketoberfest, before heading back to Biloxi.

I needed a place to lock up some things and carry tools and the hardbags looked cool and I thought i could make myself a bagger kinda guy... just not in the cards

IC fenders have full sides - almost hide the wheels completely - just a killer look. Do a google search on Indian Chief motorcycles - you'll see the fenders I'm talking about.

That makes sense about the bags. I now understand what the IC fender is.... that is a cool look. Be safe on the trip.

Default question to Twixer

Twixer - are those stock handlebars? They look like they are closer to your seated position.

By the way, very, very nice looking bike.

1975 Tiger... The bars are for a Harley Road King. p/n 55954-00. They went on without changing or moving any wires or cables. They are about 2" narrower than stock bars. Comfortable position.

I was looking at that guard, but am leaning to the Cobra....How's your ground clearance in a turn?

It looks like it's more forward and being 6'2" I could really stretch out with pegs on it.....but am concerned about my turn signals hitting it since I have the light bar.

thanks

Pics of my 2005 C50T last week with beautiful downtown Chicago in the
background, I parked the bike between Shedd Aquarium and Adler
Planetarium to get these shots. I live in the city, minutes from the lakefront.
