Default Passenger Floorboards

I just recently received my 2008 C50T and ordered rear passenger floor boards installed. I didn't know it, but the dealer installed Cobra Floorboards on the rear. Well, they can't fold up because they hit the saddle bags?

I noticed another C50T had rear boards and his fold up. 2005 Suzuki C50T Bill Johnson. Parts and Misc

Attached is my C50T....

What gives? I wanted the OEM rear boards Don't know how I ended up with Cobra???

Besides, these aren't one inch lower and one inch forward??? I wonder if I got ripped off?

The Cobra floor boards are nice....very well made and about the same price as the OEM........

I sat on the back of the bike and thought the rear boards are too close to the rear bags?? but, I'm 6'2", my wife and kids are much shorter......

I'll send him an Email and ask why I got Cobra instead of Suzuki OEM.....

To be honest with you, I think the cobras look better on this bike than the OEM ones, even though they don't fold up. The picture of Bill's 05 with the OEM passenger boards folded up, doesn't look that great to me. The pics of yours with them down looks better to me. But that's just me.

Hey, if you ever want to sell them, I might be interested in buying them from you.

I was at the dealer today dropping off bike for a valve adjustment. Talked to them about passenger floor boards they told me they are smaller than they look in the pictures you see of them. the cobras are a bigger floor board.

oem boards are fine, they do fold up out of the way. My wife has no complaints about them over the foot pegs. My experience is the rubber on them wants to come off. A little super glue fixes it though.

My dealer said the Cobra's are bigger floor boards than the stock ones...They seem well made......I'll leave them as is.....
