Ok, ok, I know there is so much written about debaffling, demickeying, etc. I've done all that with my '05 C50. I taken out the plate behind Mickey, and absolutely love the tone, but I'm gonna try and knock down some of the volume. I've got two 13 inch long 2 inch id pipes that I have drilled many 7/16" or 1/2" holes into. My plan is to attach the inside end with a stiff spring steel, to support it, and then stuff stainless steel wool around the perforated pipe, and then weld the back end so that it "almost" looks stock. Has anyone done anything like this? Anyone have any constructive criticism? Come on Spring!!! |
