Default My first mods...

I bought a Suzuki C50 on Saturday and put a few miles on it cruising with the wife. I promised her I wasn't going to turn this bike into a custom show bike like I have done with all my other bikes. This was the "family bike"... IS the family bike... hehehe

But that huge windshield had to go. I have never ridden behind a windshield and just personally dont like them. So it came off. I also didnt like the tank bib so I remove that. Nothing big... well... then I came across this forum and I haven't been able to stop myself.

I ditched the reflectors front and rear. Then I read about the airbox mod and drilled 2 holes (strategically placed) in it. Well - if you open the air, you HAVE to open the exhaust right..? So I only drilled 3 holes on the rear plate on each pipe. Enough to make it louder without being too loud. I love the sound and the wife wont notice the performance stuff until she wants to drive it... hehehe.

I also made a headlight panel like on a Harley Fatboy - it bolts to the stock windshield mounts but I am finishing the front of it in chrome. As soon as its done, I'll take pictures and post them.

So what's next? I am working on a handlebar swap...
