Default rear extra lights

I am looking to add more lighting to the rear of my bike...

The lights on the back are too low for car to see, I noticed the other day I was breaking and had my signal on way ahead before a turn but the lady behind me did not notice I was turning and kept speeding to the point I could not turn and had to keep going as well...

So looking at the rear of my bike, I think the better place to put a set of red antique light fixtures would be on the front of the hard backs...

What are your suggestiong for lights types, styles and links to the such...

My riding partner uses these.

I got a 7 led light at my local bicycle shop and mounted on the back of my sissy bar with industrial velcro. These days it is almost always dark when I ride home from work and I turn the light on to blink. It might look a bit odd as I go blinking down the street but it is noticed.
