Default Not another one!

Hello all! I posted a "new guy" thread in the intro forum, but wanted to come to where I would be spending most of my time I am sure. I am the proud new owner of an 06 C50 - that I have only seen in pictures. Being that I am in Iraq right now, and won't be home until December. I have been looking for months for a bike I could afford, and last night (the same night I registered for MJ. Coincidence? Maybe...) I accidentally found a bank repo C50 for a price I could afford. I am just as happy as I can be. I will pick it up in the second week of December, and off I go!

I have not ridden street bikes in several years, but used to put many a mile on two wheels. It will be nice to get back in the saddle. I sure miss my old V-Max. The C50 looks to be an awesome bike, and most (if not all) folks love them. Being that it is a repo, and it was damaged in recovery efforts, I will need to do a little work to it. I will be searching the forums for a set of stock turn signals (broke off), a gas tank (dented pretty good) and a right side fork tube (dented). None of the damage is bad, but still needs fixin. It only has 500 miles on it, so it is well worth it! Anyway, I look forward to spending a little time here, but mostly racking up the miles on the big C.
