|  new member just got back into riding after many years off.[early 70s].bought a2007 c50 in may $6000.+tx out the door.stalled it leaving the dealer but since then its like ive never stopped riding all came back to me. just found this forum lots of good info here.love the bike only complaint is the clunk when engaging first gear.had its first service at about 900 miles.and dealer say this is normal.[but they always say that]. added a windshiel and crash bars as we use to call them.looking for some saddlebags not sure if i want hard or soft so im taking my time choosing.

| Afdept.... welcome back...  and, yeah, apparently most C50s clunk into first gear.. i asked that question and found lots of similar threads about clunky first gears. Mine has gotten a bit better at 4500 miles now....or maybe I just dont care anymore? aNNIE
