Default How much fuel left @ reserve????

My 2006 C50 has a 4.1 gl tank, anybody know about how much is left when the low fuel light comes on ??? Or about how far I can go before I have to push it.

Thanks

Jon

When the light first comes on it will blink ( usually when leaning or accelerating ) with one gallon left in the tank. When it comes on and stays on you have about 1/2 gal left. If you have rode for some time, you will have a pretty good guess as to how many miles you get per gallon. Calculate your fill-up need by that.

Most of us reset our #1 trip each time we fill up.
You get so you know how many miles you get depending on how hard you push the bike.

For me it is 80 kms or 50 miles for you, between when the light comes on and you are empty. I came close one day, she was sputtering at the light and I put in 1/2 a liter less than capacity.

So reset the trip and error on the side of caution.

Riding at 55 to 60 mph average my fuel light comes on at about 130 miles. I usually look for the first station after that and when I fill it , it usually takes about 10 liters which is just under 3 US gallons.
