Default neck covers

Anyone replace their oem neck covers with Show Chrome, chrome covers. I bought them and cannot get them to fit properly. The ignition side has to be flexed to get it over the ignition then looks terrible because there`s a large gap on top of switch and the bottom of the ignition hole is so tight it won`t go over the collar tht sits on the ignition switch. Then the other side will not pop into the grommet no matter how I try to fit it. This is with the tank removed. Is there somethng i`m missing or is this just poor quality. The originals just pop on there no problem. 06 C50C.

Sorry, Wes, I've got no experience with the Show Chrome neck covers. There have been to many items higher on my list to take care of, and I haven't got to them all yet.

Maybe someone else with experience will post. Good luck!

And, might I add, WELCOME.

With the tank off. The top grommets go in first. Then the side grommets will just pop in. If the side ones don't go in easy. Put a tiny amount of grease on it first.
