Hi, I just got a VL800 which I love. The guy who owned it before had the COBRA exhaust pipes installed and changed the handlebars and fenders to make it more like a chopper. The bike looks and feels great, now the only thing is that I was given a brand new passenger seat with it to put it on since he made it for a solo rider but now I realize that the regular Volusia seat won't fit this bike since the stop light is in the way. So, for those more experienced people that have customized their bikes, what would be the best and less costly option, change the rear fender so it accomodates the standard seat or find a suitable seat that fits the bike as is. What would be a good place to start looking for a seat? Any feedback on those seats with suction cups? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great day. ESEAMA

Check VolusiaRiders.com :: Home Could find parts there. I think picking up a stock fender and reversing what has been done may be best. But go with what you like.

| "Last edited by ESEAMA1 : Today at 01:39 AM. Reason: Enter real name by mistake " You don't like your real name?? Just kidding, Lehman Trikes makes trikes out of C50s. There's a link here somewhere that takes you to where they sell the surplus fenders, tires, wheels and such. Do a search for it.

Travis at Lehman trikes 605-642-2111 It might not be that simple..... You'll need the rear fender and the metal inner fender (thats where the bolt threads in for the rear seat). The stock fender will also have the holes in it for the stock taillight. So you'll need to fill them and repaint or buy a stock taillight and turn signals also. Lehman sells the fender, inner fender, and tail light, you'll need to find the turn signals somewhere else (JC Whitney). You can probably get everything but the turnsignals for less that $100 from Lehman add to that the paint to match the bike.

Hi Volusia, I really appreciate your feedback. I didn't realize that until I started my research. It looks like by the time it's all said and done, I will have spent about $300 to $500. It's definitely worth it but I might have to wait a little since I just bought the bike. Thanks again. ESEAMA
