|  valve clearance check/adjustment
I took advantage of the good weather and took my bully down to the dealer to have the valve clearance checked. my dealer's service department reccommends checking the valve clearance at 1000-1200 miles instead of 600 and 1800 like the manual says. Any how my valves were fine. I asked the mechanic how often he sees a bike that needs an adjustment. He said that he has done hundreds and they are always ok. I guess I wouldn't have wanted to push my luck and be the ONE that needed an adjustment just to save the money. I also had them take care of the recall on the ignition switch. Question????? Has any body had the valve check done at 600 miles and actully had the valves need to be adjusted?????
