Default ???Speed sensor on front end reassembly
I am looking at the service manual as I reassemble the wifes bike (2001 VL800) and it says to line up the speed sensor and the tab on the right fork as shown in the photo. The photo is not a very good photo for an "alignment" process. How exactly is the speed sensor supposed to line up to the right fork leg? Does anyone know the specifics or any tricks? I really don't want to break the speed sensor. The bike was wrecked when we bought it and the speed sensor was gone, so I have no idea and thought that someone here could help out.
