| Ok so I bought some clear lenses and amber bulbs for my C50 and when I went to put the bulbs in I found that at the connection point that the amber ones had two 'nubs' instead of one 'nub' as the stock one does. i rang the dude at the shop and he said he'd swap or refund the money($80 Australian), but sounded surprised as most bulbs evidently have just one nub. By nub I mean the little bumps under the silver base of the bulbs. Can anyone straighten me out on this where the C50 is concerned.

| In the UK a bulb supporting Two NUBS underneath would have two filaments in the glass denoting that its usage was as a STOP AND TAIL light combined How many filaments does yours have, if two then obviously he has supplied you with the wrong bulb Also the mounting pins are STEPPED on a two filament bulb as opposed to inline with the one filament/NUB |

| Here the bulbs are known as 1156 and 1157. The rear brake light is dual filiments and the rear turnsignals use single. The front turn signals use dual. Rear brakelight is also Lic. plate run light Front turn signals are also running lights Rear turn signals are turn signals only. Some increase visability by running a 2357 dual filiments. I tried a 1157 LED and it did not light up the lense as much, but was only a 5 LED unit, still looking for something that will improve rear visability without too much cost, as shipping handling from down south gets to be expensive. |

| No I have not tried any other brand of LED. The selection here is limited and the cost factor of bringing it across the border can be expensive. That is an advantage of this forum, someone here will have tried something that works and share the info with us. I have also looked at diff. lic. plate holders that have additional brake and turn signals/running lights on them. The local ones do not have the right combo's and are expensive. I have been looking at a flashing/rotating LED bulb on E-Bay, but think it is not legal here. I hate buying something and when you get it, it does not live up to expectation. |

| Wants Better Weather ![]() | I figured it out. I had to look at my bike to see what was going on. GOT MY BIKE OUT TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE OCTOBER YEAHHHH!!!! The front turn signals stay on all the time and blink when you hit the blinkers. So they will have 2 nubs, ON AND BRIGHT. The blinkers on the back are off all the time and will only blink when you hit the blinkers so they will only have one nub. ON OR OFF Its a 2 filiment and a 1 filiment. Hope that helps. Front-2 Rear-1

| Thanks for all the input everyone. I presumed all the C50s blinker lights stay off when not blinking....evidently they don't which is probably why people seem to have had trouble with melting issues.
