| Hi all Just installed a set of hard luggage on my c50, whilst i am more than pleased with the new look. i failed to spot that the passenger pegs are virtually unsafe now and unusable If i sit a passenger on the rear seat, owing to the position of the panniers, the passenger can barely rest their heel on the passenger foot rest. I have found posts on these forums for swapping the pegs from one side to the other to place them further forward, but then i found these boards on the net http://www.alphacustombikes.com/cata...roducts_id=284 I was looking at 73-118 the smaller of the two sets listed Can you enlighten me if they will do the job, as over here in the UK we do not have the same choice as you lads over there in the States Many thanks in anticipation Alan |

| I'm not sure they will work (will they flip to the up position with the bags on? If it is easier for you to deal with a company in Spain try these.... http://www.bikercom.com/WebCommerce/...dProdLT=288455 |

| Has anyone looked at the Cobra rear floorboards? They are more expensive but I only want to purchase them one time and would like the best. The Suzuki floorboards look good as well. Let me know if you have any experience with these http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...756&Division=7 Thanks! |

| I installed a set of OEM passenger floorboards from Suzuki on my C50T and love em. I found the best price at Oneida Suzuki. The underside is chromed nicely and looks great while the boards are in the upright position.

| Thanks for the replies finally sorted with all your help, followed the link given by v0lusia and bought the extension pegs from Bikercom in Spain. This dropped the pegs alongside the top exhaust pipe, not finished there i bought a pair of fold up Chrome/rubber H A C passenger boards and fitted those All together this conversion cost over £200 but well worth the money, I am 6foot tall and tried it out as a passenger and the foot position is sooooo natural, like sitting in an arm chair, without having your knees pushing in your chest And with the boards folded up when not in use(showing off the chrome underside) i reckon it is one of the best "Bling" items i have invested in Next thing now is to find a passenger willing to ride as pillion as it is something i have not done before being a novice rider (scares me a bit) Thanks again |

| I wasn't sure and thought it might be the lighting. It's a nice shade of blue then. You could always post one pic of the whole bike that shows the floorboards you installed in the down position |

| know this is the volusia site, but i actually made my passenger floorboards for my intruder lc. cost me $22.00 and i don't think many would know them from factory. it did take some time(which i have plenty of) and thought. i went to a place called "metal by the foot" and bought some 1/4 in plate aluminum, then took the footpegs off the mounting brackets(they are screwed on). drilled and tapped the aluminum, screwed them to the existing part of footpeg so that now it even folds up also. i have a polisher, so polished the aluminum and installed some rubber pad i had left over from running boards off an old pickup i have been restoring, and presto, i have floorboards that look factory and only about $20-22.00. bought all new stainless bolts and screws, and paid a friend $10.00 to tack weld at one point just to be safe. pieces of aluminum were $10.00. later, bud

| will try to post some photos soon. i don't have a digital and have to rely on my stepson to use his when possible. i may have made this sound a little easier than it was, but i enjoy "tinkering" and like making something like this just to say i did. i've messed with streetrods and custom cars all my life, and always like fabricating what i can. i have a band saw that will cut aluminum, and did have to make a couple cuts also. later, bud
