| Everyone, I need some good advice. I'm 5'6" and been riding my C50 for two months now and about 1300 miles. Bike is great, but I'm beginning to realize that my riding posture may be making long rides uncomfortable, so maybe I need to add risers to bring the grips back toward me some. Can anyone recommend what works well with a C50 without having to modify cables? Also, does adding risers adversely affect the handling of the bike??? Thanks for your help! Jim |

| I have PhatRisers from Scootworks ($104). They're 1 1/2" up and 2" back (others available) installed easily without any cable changes, and with my seat modifications the bike is really comfortable. I don't have any back or shoulder tweaks like I did at first. Use your stock bolt covers though, they're nicer.

| Make sure the ones you get pull the bars back towards you, and don't just lift them up. My sweetie had a Volucia and loved the PhatRiders with the 2-inch pullback and 1.5 inch lift, as she is very short. She traded it for a 1400, and had to get some risers with 4-inches of pullback.

| Thanks to everyone for the good ideas. Didn't know spacers even existed, but sounds like I may need risers to pull the bar back towards me. One last question, though. Will I have any problem negotiating tight turns at slow speeds if I do this? |

| They cost a little more, but I recommend the Aeromach Aluminum Risers from Oneida Suzuki, I have installed these and the greatly improved the comfort on my rides, here is the link 1 |

| After installing the risers I found myself turning tighter turns, it must have put me into a more comfortable riding position, I find my riding much more comfortable and my confidense has increased.

| Newbie | i'm 6 foot 3 and i don't have the problem yall have but i really have been thinking about adding some risers with a new bar and grips. I would love to find an all in one setup that would be sweet. anywho whatever you get make sure you prepare to lengthen the cables or even better make sure you get something that you don't have to lengthen the cables with.

| I got mine from Scootworks, the PhatII's. They have an awesome look to them, and in combo with the Mustang seat w/ Drivers backrest makes this bike feel like a lazy boy recliner. Now I just need a remote control to go with it |

| In case anyone is still on the fence of what risers to use, it looks like the stock risers from the M50 may work also, it looks like they will actually bring the bar back approximately 1/2" further than the Aeromach's, now on my C50T I still had enough slack I think that these risers would also work, FYI

| I am on that proverbial fence. I suffer from carpal tunnel in my right wrist and need the grips as low as possible to ease the pain. My question is; Do you notice the "rise" in the grips, or can you lower them by adjusting your handlebars down. I really need the pull back but don't want the rise.

| With my Aeromach's it does raise the bar 2" and brings it back 1-1/2", but you can adjust the bar height by turning it in the risers, if your looking to bring the bar back farther with less lift you might want to look at the risers on the M50, the only question is wether there will be enough slack in the cables, I imagine if you measured the slack on 20 different C50's you'd probably get 20 different measurements!

| I am 5'6" and bought a set of the Aeromach Risers and simply love them. I further adjusted the pull back by rotating the handlebars to a position that fit me best. No shoulder fatigue at all. I used to experience shoulder problems/soreness with the stock risers and also to a lesser degree with the Aeromach's until I rotated the handlebars down. All I need now is a drivers backrest and I will be set. |
