Angry No bike for a week +

Well, once agian my services are needed elsewhere. I need to travel to Ft Drum, NY next week. Since my C50 needs it's first service I called the stealer for an appointment. I can't get it in until Thursday and since I am gone for the next 6 days, I had to drop it off yesterday.
Man, this sucks. I think I am having withdrawal already.

Maybe while I'm in NY, I will take a ride by Oneida's showroom and see how they treat me. Anyone know how fare they are from they are from Watertown?

It is about 2 hours to Verona from Watertown as I remember. If you are going to check out the online sales don't bother. The Oneida Suzuki dealership is just like any other dealership and no special deals. The Oneida Suzuki online is just a warehouse and has no customer area. They just get the parts and ship them out. I went down there to check them out last month.

Comin' to see you're friends to the north, eh?? Oneida would be about two hours from Watertown via Route 12 South to Route 365 South/East. Better grab your winter clothes, he he he ... it will be snowin' up this way by next week !!!

Maybe I will swing by on my way back on Friday. I have to use 81 anyway.

I look around here, and say, damn, I wish I had the bike.
Maybe I will make a trip on the 2 wheels nest season.

I have to go from Keeseville, NY (near lake Champlain/vermont border) to Niagara falls next week. Would love to take the bike, but I'm not sure I want to pound the NY thruway for 5 hours on it.

Is it far enough to do an iron butt ride?

Hey ya know what, oneidea has been very good to me. All of my parts have come on time and un damaged. I know they get a bad rep here but I haven't had a problem at all. And I've ordered a bunch of stuff from them. I hope my luck continues.

Yeah, I would look for a different route, but that would take up to 8-10 hours rather than 5. I don't blame you.

Incidentally, I pick up the bike tomorrow. I supposed to go on a support the troops ride on Sunday for local National Guard units deployed to Iraq. Looking forward to that.

Me too, I guess we are beating the odds. I have had about 6 orders from Oneida over the last year and they've done well by me.
