Default Any Victory Riders

Victory made in America. This is a good thing. Runs like a dream and doesn't leave you stranded.

I was test riding one saturday and really liked the bike, but the cost left standing in the cold.

Our local stealer want's 19-20k for each bike, I can buy a lot of other toy's for that price.

If they still have one try bellamy outdoor sports near Tallahassee Florida.
I bought my HAmmer or 15,400 out the door. The owner is getting out of the big bike biz and sticking to atv's. He had two arlen ness models in there....dirt cheap...15k I think and another hammer.

Ez I'll post one this week about wensday or so.

I have a real appreciation of your ride!! I used to drive big trucks coast to coast across I-80. You can really wind her up west of Lincoln and I bet you it is a rush to be on that bike at 3:00 in the morning. Where do you ride from Omaha?

the Loess Hills is the best riding im the area.
if you ever get out this way just look me up and
we will go for a ride through the hills.
it is a senic byway and some beautiful riding

I would expect that you would ride along the river given that the scenery is more varied. I have run I-29 N up to the SD so I know the terrain. The thing I love about NE is out on I-80 between Kearney & Grand Island when the birds are migrating. I think this is the area and not farther west but in all my travels I have never seen so many birds. The Canadian geese for a few days number in the hundreds of thousands if not millions. It is an incredible sight to see.
As far as making it to NE again, doubtfull. I drive a desk now and Omaha is a twelve hundred miles from Southern Ontario. Now I might just take you up on that if you would let me take the Victory for a test drive . . .

There's a Vic dealer in town I drive by often. Stopped to shop a few times, and was very attracted to a nice deal on a leftover touring model (old style). But, the new models are quite impressive! Maybe when there's a few used ones out there...

the handling is just great and i would buy another if i could afford it.
yesterday i was riding with a couple of sport bikes and hell through the twisties they couldn't even loose me at least not by far.lol
you better grab up that TC they won't be around long

it ain't hard to demo a Victory all the dealerships
down this way will let you demo any model.
not like HD who wants you to rent one for a day to demo it.

as for riding here look up our national byways the Loess Hills run from Missouri
all the way into S.City some of the best riding in this part of the country.
all varied from twisties to hills and long sweepers, great riding so if you ever get to this part of the country again just look me up and i will take you on some of our best riding.
and this also goes for anyone else on the forum. i love them hills and know all of the good roads.

i will tell you there are some exceptional deals out there in used TCs
mine is an 03 i bought it from a friend it had 14k on it when i bought it
with the custom tins and mustang seat along with all the other do dads
that where on it he had close to 20k in it and i bought it for 9k
i couldn't beat the deal. but i have noticed others going in this price range
without the flames.
i rode a 99 vic for 4 yrs and after the faulty tranny was upgraded at 7k miles under warranty
i never had to have it back in the shop and it had 64k miles on it when i sold it
the guy i sold it to has added another 8k on it and it still has not had to have any service
the 99 and 2000 had alot of faulty trannys but Polaris did right by me.
since 02 the bikes are pretty much bullet proof.
there is a guy in NY as a mater of fact he is the Abate prez for the state of NY
he has 174k miles on a 99 but of course it has needed some work but not alot.
