Rickster, that may be a valid point. I've never ran it long enough to see if it starts flashing. However the manual does state that the light illuminates at 0.98 US gal remaining and doesn't mention anything about it coming on early and then flashing.

Either mine has a different set up, or it just fails to mention it... one way to truly find out I suppose. I plan on running her down this weekend to find out once and for all, so we'll see.
