|  Change Oil Filter only, VStar 100
I read in a Google search where someone changes just the oil filter when using synthetic oil since synthetic last much longer than conventional oil. Can just the oil filter be changed without pouring oil out of the crankcase all over the place? Is it advisable to keep synthetic longer that 7 - 12 months in the engine even though 2000 miles or less is logged each year? new to this forum...wellsc1 |
