Default Need urgent help with O2 sensor and pipes
Sorry for the cross posting but I need some help quickly. I'm installing some Roadburner pipes on my 08 Star 1300 and the pipes sit lower than the stock pipe and the O2 Sensor will not reach the plug on the bike. The the plug that is mounted on the bike looks like it is attached to a piece of metal that appears spot welded. Can I break this mount so I can detach the plug so it can move down to connect with the pipe end of the sensor? I just want to make sure it isnt grounded to the bike through the mount.

Has anybody else run into this problem? I dont have a programmer yet so I need to connect the sensor.
